Bengali
Bengali is also an Indo-Aryan language of the subcontinent of India that has evolved from the Magadhi Prakit and Sanskrit languages. People from this ethnic background first came to UK as sailors since the 18th century. This community has grown over the years with the help of organization such as the Bengali Cultural Association in East London.

Gujarati
Gujarati, another Indo-Aryan language, evolved from Sanskrit and is Gujarat’s chief language. This is the language spoken in the London areas of Newham, Harrow, Redbridge and Wembley.
